A NATURAL WONDER

The Cliffs of Moher, stretching approximatively 14 kilometres along the Atlantic coast in County Clare, rise to a height of 214m at their highest point near O'Brien's Tower. From this vantage, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the Aran Islands, Galway Bay and the Twelve Bens mountain range in County Galway.

The Cliffs are home to over 30,000 pairs of birds during the breeding season, including puffins, razorbills and kittiwakes. The surrounding area is also part of the Burren and Cliffs of Moher 229 UNESCO Global Geopark, one of only 3 Geoparks in Ireland, and is renowned for its unique geological features and diverse ecosystems.

VISITOR CENTRE & ATTRACTIONS

The Cliffs of Moher Visistor Centre, nestled into hillside to minimise visual impact, is open daily, with extended hours during peak seasons. It offers a range of facilities and attractions such as O'Brien's Tower, the Ledge 4D Experience, the Interactive Exhibitions, cafes and gift shops.

BEST TIME TO VISIT

To experience the Cliffs of moher at their most serene, consider visiting early in the morning before 11am or later in the afternoon after 4pm. Sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean create an unforgettable memory, casting a golden glow over the rugged landscape.
