Mayo Dark Sky Festival (1st & 2nd): Established in 2016, this festival celebrates all facets of Mayo's natural dark skies, taking place in the communities around the Dark Sky Park (Newport-Mulranny-Ballycroy) and making it a top spot for stargazing. On clear nights, more than 4,000 stars light up the sky, visitors can also get to view constellations, planets like Venus and Jupiter and meteor showers. This 3 day event (starts on the 31st October), includes talk on astronomy, biodiversity and culture as well as art exhibitions, musical performances and much more.
Westport Sea 2 Summit (8th): A unique event based in the Adventure Capital of Ireland, Westport. The race incorporates all the thrills the town has to offer. Choose between S2S Spirit or S2S Supreme race.
Dirty DC (14th): This event captures the essence of AC/DC's live shows, from the electrifying guitars riffsand thundering stage presence. From 9.30pm to 11.30pm at the Jester Bar, Westport
